Driving to Morocco with a campervan was a wish for a long time.





Taking your own car or campervan to Morocco by ferry is absolutely uncomplicated.





We took the ferry from Algeciras in southern Spain to Tanger-Med in late October 2025. The tickets were bought at the travel agency -Carlos Gutierrez- in Los Barrios, Algeciras. Costs for a roundtrip with an open ticket for the return journey: 250€ for two persons including the Sprinter van.





In the harbour of Tanger-Med you can complete a car insurance for Morocco (200€/3 months), get a sim-card and cash. Then you‘re ready to go.
